Alia is a 5th-year PhD student working in Arnaud Hubstenberger’s team whose dedicated to unravel the regulation of RNA condensates. During one of our last meeting, Alia chose to address two challenges she encountered during her doctoral studies and proposed solutions for each. First, she demystified R Studio for beginners by displaying the Esquisse plug-in for intuitive data visualization to our club attendees. Then, and thanks to her experience regarding the managing of limited RNA samples, Alia exhibited how to measure quality and quantity with the Qubit and the Bioanalyzer, two of the numerous devices available at the iBV.
