Arnaud is a 4th-year PhD student working in the lab of Guillaume Sandoz. His work aims to develop new tools to modulate ion channels to gain a deeper understanding of their involvement in neuropathic pain disorders. During our recent meeting, Arnaud presented an exciting new technique called Single Molecule Pull-down (SiMPull), which offers a solution to a long-standing problem in electrophysiology and cell biology: how to quantify biomolecular interactions and assess their stoichiometry.

SimPull represents a significant advancement in the field of neurobiology, and we are eager to see its continued development among the young researchers at iBV. Feel free to consult Arnaud’s presentation on the iBV common server for a detailed overview of this technique and its applications.
