As a 4th year PhD student in the lab of Dr. Michèle Studer, Wanchana focused his efforts in developing new click-chemistry tools to better characterize key protein functions in the context of neurodevelomental disorders. Using Genetic Code Expansion (GCE), Wanchana is able to introduce non-canonical amino acids with designed properties in proteins to better address their localization, interactions and function.
