On 23 October 2026, the Institut de Biologie Valrose (iBV) will host the inaugural Valrose Chemical Biology Exchange 2026, a new international symposium dedicated to innovative molecular tools for understanding biological systems.
Held at the Grand Château Valrose (Université Côte d’Azur, Nice), the symposium aims to foster interdisciplinary collaborations by bringing together researchers from chemical biology, protein engineering, and the life sciences to discuss cutting-edge approaches that are transforming our understanding of biology and enabling new directions in biomedical research.
The scientific programme will feature keynote lectures by internationally recognized researchers:
- Prof. Irene Coin (Leipzig University, Germany)
- Prof. Kathrin Lang (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)
- Dr. Ludger Johannes (Institut Curie, France)
- Dr. Shixin Ye-Lehmann (Université Paris-Saclay, France)
The meeting will highlight recent advances in chemical biology, genetic code expansion, bioorthogonal chemistry, protein engineering, molecular imaging, protein-protein interactions, and photocontrol technologies. The programme will also include a poster session, an industry exhibition, and dedicated networking opportunities to encourage interactions between researchers from academia and industry.
Participation is free of charge, but registration will be required. Registration details will be announced shortly.
