SUMMARY:Michaël OHANNA
DESCRIPTION:From: C3M\, Université Côte d’Azur \n  \nWill give a seminar entitled: \n\n  \nNuclear deformation as a driver of melanoma phenotypic plasticity \n\nMelanoma cells display remarkable phenotypic plasticity\, allowing them to switch between proliferative\, invasive and therapy-tolerant states. While these transitions are often described through transcriptional and epigenetic programs\, emerging evidence suggests that nuclear architecture and mechanical constraints may also shape melanoma cell behavior. In this seminar\, I will discuss how nuclear deformation and nuclear envelope remodeling\, with a focus on lamin-associated mechanisms\, may contribute to melanoma invasive adaptation. I will present preliminary data linking nuclear mechanical features to melanoma cell-state plasticity and discuss how this emerging axis could open new perspectives on tumour heterogeneity and therapeutic resistance. \n
